Sales and Offtake Officer
About this role
Sisa Method Limited is recruiting a Sales and Offtake Officer for its project in Kogi State. The role focuses on presales activities, customer education, demand qualification and obtaining conditional offtake agreements for the Ajaokuta Mini-LNG plant before first gas. The successful candidate will convert demand into qualified offtake opportunities, support letters of intent and MoUs, prepare proposals, and coordinate onboarding, site surveys and logistics. The position requires prior B2B sales experience and the ability to manage a sales pipeline and use CRM tools. Travel to meet customers and sites is expected as part of the role.
What you would do
- Qualify leads through discovery of fuel use, site access and decision processes
- Support letters of intent, MoUs and conditional offtake agreements
- Prepare quotations and proposals using approved price books and templates
- Prepare customer onboarding pack, ordering workflow and delivery process with Logistics and Operations
- Coordinate customer site surveys and maintain readiness checklists
- Build and maintain a CRM-based customer funnel by sector and location
- Maintain weekly pipeline and monthly volume forecasts with Finance for credit checks and payment security
- Maintain awareness of credit status and payment security measures
- Engage with customers to educate and progress presales activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure target demand is converted to feasible offtake opportunities
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development, preferably in energy, gas, fuels or industrial supply
- Good understanding of customer credit and contract basics
- Willingness to travel to meet customers and visit sites
- Ability to prepare commercial proposals and explain technical offers clearly
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM tools
