Sales Admin Manager
About this role
Role: Sales Admin Manager with Tropical General Investments Group in Lagos. The position provides administrative leadership and operational support to the Sales function, covering sales administration, order-to-cash, distributor documentation, billing, reporting, fleet coordination and customer complaint resolution, while ensuring policy compliance and stakeholder management. Candidates should have substantial FMCG sales operations experience and a track record in distributor administration.
What you would do
- Oversee end-to-end sales administration and order management across regions, including processing orders, collections, reconciliations and master data maintenance.
- Manage billing, rebates, scheme claims and settlements with Finance and distributors; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead sales MIS, reporting and data analytics; maintain data integrity across ERP/SFA/DMS and provide commercial insights.
- Supervise fleet operations supporting sales and distribution; monitor vehicle availability, utilisation, maintenance and costs.
- Manage customer complaint logging, escalation and resolution; analyse trends and report on service levels.
- Lead and develop the Sales Administration team while coordinating with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and HR to ensure policy compliance and audit readiness.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor/HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Sales, Marketing or related discipline; postgraduate degree or professional qualification is an advantage.
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme where applicable.
- 7-10 years of FMCG experience in Sales Administration, Commercial Operations, Sales Support, Customer Service or Sales Operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong practical experience with ERP, DMS, SFA, Power BI and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated experience managing distributor administration, billing and order-to-cash processes.
