Route to Market Officer
About this role
A Route to Market Officer is needed to help implement and optimise route-to-market strategies across assigned territories and distribution channels in Lagos. The role targets professionals with several years of FMCG experience to support channel management and commercial decisions.
What you would do
- Support the implementation and optimisation of route-to-market strategies across territories and channels
- Monitor market coverage, product availability and distribution efficiency to identify gaps
- Analyse distributor, wholesaler, retailer and customer performance for channel management
- Assess existing routes, territories and distribution models and propose adjustments based on market needs
- Support commercial decision-making with performance analysis
- Collaborate with the team to grow within the Route to Market function
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Marketing, Sales or a related discipline
- More than four years of relevant FMCG experience
- Strong knowledge of route-to-market principles and distribution models
- Experience in channel management and FMCG sales and distribution operations
- Good analytical and decision-making skills
- Understanding of market dynamics in FMCG environments
