RF and Structured Cabling Engineer

Kennedia Consulting seeks an experienced RF and Structured Cabling Engineer to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot physical network infrastructure across its Lagos offices. The role involves fibre optic work, wireless link configuration, and managing structured cabling systems and network racks. What you would do

• Troubleshoot physical network issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform fibre optic cable installation, splicing, termination, and OTDR testing.
• Maintain network documentation and support infrastructure expansion projects.
• Configure and maintain Point-to-Point and Point-to-M Multipoint wireless links.
• Install and maintain network racks, cable management systems, and unmanaged switches.
• Install, terminate, test, and maintain CAT6/CAT6A structured cabling.

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in structured cabling, fibre optics, and RF infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards, fibre optic testing, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, design, or oil & gas environments is an advantage.
