Retail Sales Officer

A Retail Sales Officer is needed to join the showroom team in Festac, Lagos. What you would do
- Welcome customers into the showroom and provide professional assistance
- Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable products based on requirements and budget
- Explain product features, specifications, benefits, prices and options to customers
- Demonstrate products and explain their functions where applicable
- Pursue sales opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets
- Generate sales through customer engagement and product presentation
- Upsell and cross-sell relevant products and accessories
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries
- Follow up with prospective customers to convert enquiries into sales
- Maintain accurate sales records and ensure products on display are clean and correctly labelled
What they are asking for
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or related discipline (preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service or similar role
- Experience selling electronics, home appliances, consumer goods or related products (advantage)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and selling, negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Ability to work with sales targets and explain product features clearly
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems
- Energetic, confident and presentable
- Male candidates preferred; resident within reasonable commuting distance of Festac, Lagos preferred
