Restaurant Supervisor
About this role
A Restaurant Supervisor is needed to oversee kitchen operations at the Itire/Surulere branch in Lagos, coordinating kitchen staff and ensuring hygiene, inventory and portion control. The role targets candidates with commercial cooking experience and supervisory skills who can reside or work in specified Lagos areas.
What you would do
- Coordinate staff and activities in the kitchen and related areas.
- Ensure the kitchen is safe and hygienic at all times.
- Organise inventory, storage and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies.
- Assist in planning menus and allocating ingredients; manage food surpluses.
- Control portion costs by determining portions per batch.
- Supervise cooks, monitor food quality, and ensure recipes and appearance standards.
What they are asking for
- HND or BSc degree or equivalent.
- Commercial cooking experience, preferably in a restaurant or hotel; vocational catering training a plus.
- Management or supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and basic literacy skills.
- Creative and customer-oriented mindset.
- Must reside in or be able to work in Itire, Ijesha, Lawanson, Ojuelegba, Surulere or Mushin.
