Reservoir Engineer
About this role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Reservoir Engineer for a full-time role in Port Harcourt, Rivers. The role involves following up field activities, conducting production and reservoir studies, data gathering, reserves evaluation, forecasting production and supporting reporting and asset optimisation.
What you would do
- Follow up daily and monthly production data to analyse shortfalls.
- Gather data from operators through meetings, reports and contacts for feedback.
- Attend meetings (QMR, VAR, PAR) and workshops as the company's representative.
- Review operators' volumetric data and reserves; perform volumetric assessments for new developments.
- Forecast future production using classical reservoir engineering techniques or simulation; provide production profiles and reserves estimates for reporting.
- Review operator plans and work; provide technical assistance to other Reservoir Engineers and mentor interns; make recommendations for asset optimisation and present findings as required.
What they are asking for
- BSc or MSc in Petroleum Engineering or other engineering field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering.
- Ability to synthesise data and interact with operational professionals.
- Fluency in English is highly desirable.
