Relationship Officer
About this role
A full-time Relationship Officer role in Lagos (hybrid) for NairaPoint Finance Limited, aimed at acquiring and managing customers for loan and fixed deposit products, with cross-selling of savings and investment offerings. The position targets high monthly sales figures and requires experience in sales, lending, or relationship management within fintech or financial services.
What you would do
- Prospect and acquire new borrowers for loan products through various outreach methods.
- Mobilise fixed deposits from individuals, SMEs, corporates, and high-net-worth clients.
- Cross-sell savings, investment, and wealth management products to existing customers.
- Maintain a sales pipeline and report progress against targets to the Head of Sales.
- Guide customers through loan applications, KYC, and documentation, and assess credit risk.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and monitor repayment schedules to manage delinquencies.
What they are asking for
- Minimum of HND or bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, economics, business administration, marketing or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIBN, ACCA, ICAN) is an advantage.
- 4–8 years of experience in sales, lending, credit analysis or relationship management in fintech, bank, microfinance or finance house.
- Strong knowledge of loan, savings and investment products and credit risk analysis.
- Proven track record of meeting high-value sales targets in loan origination and deposit mobilization.
- Existing network of SMEs or salary earners in Lagos is an added advantage.
