About this role

Role: Relationship Manager – Merchant Acquisition & Revenue Generation, based in Lagos for TeamAce Limited. The successful candidate will acquire new merchants, generate revenue, and build strong merchant relationships while aiming to meet sales targets.

What you would do

• Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned locations and markets
• Build and maintain strong merchant relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and loyalty
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly merchant acquisition and revenue targets
• Prospect and engage merchants through field visits, referrals, networking, and other channels
• Negotiate commercial terms and agreements with merchants

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (an added advantage)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, business development, relationship management, merchant acquisition, or a similar role
• Experience in transaction finance, fintech, payments, or banking (an added advantage)
• Proven ability to acquire new customers/merchants and generate revenue
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills
