What you would do

• Track and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines for products and operations.
• Conduct regulatory research and analyse requirements for development and submissions.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline regulatory processes and improve efficiency.
• Manage non-conforming product issues to minimise losses and prevent recurrence.
• Assess risks associated with new product runs and mitigate them.
• Maintain relationships with internal teams, peers and external institutions.
• Recommend and support implementation of value-delivering initiatives.
• Promote use of technology and automation within the business.
• Learn from external best practices and share them within SBC.

• Bachelor degree (BSc or HND) in Physical Science such as Chemistry, Biochemistry or Food Science and Technology.
• At least 3 to 5 years of FMCG experience with quality control/assurance in a food and beverage company.
• Knowledge of bottling operations including Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health and Safety.
• Ability to translate functional strategy into the unit/section plan.
• Ability to enforce safety, health and environment policies and improvement initiatives.
