A contract role for a Regulatory Affairs Assistant in Lagos, supporting product registration, compliance and regulatory submissions over a 1-year term. The position targets candidates with a life science background who can work with internal teams and regulators to secure approvals.

What you would do

• Prepare and maintain documents for product registrations, renewals and variations.
• Submit regulatory applications and record submissions, approvals and correspondence.
• Review product information, labels, artwork and claims for compliance.
• Track registrations, renewals, approvals, queries and expiry dates.
• Maintain regulatory databases, trackers and document archives.
• Provide regulatory guidance for projects and respond to regulatory queries and inspections.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition or related Life Science field.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Regulatory Affairs, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing or similar.
• Understanding of product registration, labelling, claims and regulatory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and record management skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management with ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
