About this role
The Registrar at ADCOTIES Gulak is the chief administrative officer and secretary to the Governing Council, Academic Board and Congregation. The role covers day‑to‑day administration, custodianship of records and official documents, and coordination of admissions, examinations and convocation, suitable for candidates with substantial tertiary‑level experience who have held Deputy Registrar level roles or equivalent for at least five years.
What you would do
- Serve as Chief Administrative Officer and Secretary to the Governing Council, Academic Board and Congregation
- Head the Registry and oversee recruitment, promotion, discipline, welfare and personnel records
- Manage day‑to‑day administration and custodianship of official records, laws and the institutional seal
- Coordinate admissions, examinations, students' records and convocation processes
- Advise Management and Council on administrative and legal compliance
- Handle issuance and authentication of all official documents

- A good honours degree (minimum Second-Class Lower Division) from a recognised university in Humanities, Social Sciences or related disciplines
- Minimum of 15 years post-qualification cognate experience in a tertiary institution
- Not below the rank of Deputy Registrar in a Polytechnic or equivalent for at least 5 years on the rank
- Membership of a relevant professional body
- Age not above 60 years at the time of assumption; good physical and mental health
- Basic information communication technology (ICT) skills and moral soundness with impeccable character
