What you would do

• Receive written or electronic prescriptions from customers.

• Process cash, credit or POS transactions and refer medication questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and schedule consultations.
• File prescription records and manage administrative tasks.
• Receive, unpack and stock pharmaceutical deliveries.
• Check expiry dates and rotate stock (FIFO).
• Monitor low-stock items and alert the pharmacist for reordering.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, storage areas and workstation; ensure proper disposal of expired or damaged medications.
