Regional Technical Manager
About this role
Regional Technical Manager for CBRE Excellerate in Lagos, acting as the primary technical authority for Integrated Facilities Management across the region. The role serves as the single point of contact for all technical matters on the client account and coordinates with facilities managers, project managers, contractors, and the client to ensure timely, validated technical resolutions.
What you would do
- Act as the definitive technical authority for engineering and facilities matters on the client account.
- Translate complex issues into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Review and endorse technical solutions proposed by contractors or vendors.
- Lead end-to-end incident and problem management for technical issues.
- Oversee change management including sign-off of CHGs and coordinating maintenance windows.
- Liaise with the client’s engineering team and ensure alignment with engineering standards and contractual obligations.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in technical facilities management or related field.
- Experience managing multi-site technical operations across Sub-Saharan Africa, especially Francophone countries.
- Strong knowledge of critical systems: power distribution, UPS, generators, ATS, HV/LV switchgear, HVAC, fire and life safety.
- Professional engineering body membership is advantageous.
- Bilingual fluency in French and English.
