Jaza Energy is seeking a Regional Service Engineer to oversee a team of Field Service Engineers and manage regional technical operations for solar energy charging stations and hub energy systems. The role focuses on maintaining reliable power, ensuring high energy uptime, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting. It involves significant travel within Nigeria and coordinating with multiple internal teams to resolve technical issues and optimise performance. The candidate reports to the Technical Manager and will lead training and performance reviews, as well as prepare monthly hub energy and power availability reports. What you would do
- Lead and supervise Field Service Engineers to ensure energy uptime at hubs and proper setup of new hubs.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimise solar energy systems and hub energy equipment.
- Review and analyse hub energy performance data and other technical reports.
- Collaborate with regional coordinators, NOC data team, and FSEs to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Prepare and share monthly performance reports on power availability with management.
- Train and develop FSEs on best practices and safety standards.
- Coordinate regular maintenance of hub energy systems.
- Direct field activities to ensure seamless connectivity and system reliability.
- Monitor and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and reporting.
