Regional Security Officer (South East)

Moniepoint is looking for a Regional Security Lead to oversee security for the South East region, including Enugu. What you would do
- Lead implementation of regional security policies protecting people, offices and equipment.
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and design risk-reduction strategies.
- Supervise and mentor security guards and armed personnel.
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services for emergencies.
- Lead response to security breaches and accidents with factual reporting.
- Design and deliver training on life-saving protocols for security staff and employees.
- Stay updated on security trends and technology to modernise regional operations.
- Provide guidance on asset recovery and fraud investigation when needed.
What they are asking for
- At least 5 years of experience leading a security team in guard services or physical security, or 5 years as a supervisor in military, police or paramilitary roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field.
- Recognised security certification such as CPP, PSP or CPO.
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass background checks.
- Ability to speak local dialects of major regional communities.
- Experience with automated security systems (CCTV, burglar alarms, etc.).
