Regional Manager
About this role
Regional Manager to lead the sales and marketing function for hospitals and chain pharmacy stores in the region. The role reports to the National Sales Manager and supervises Sales and Marketing Managers and Key Account Managers. Based in Abuja, it aims to drive regional sales growth in line with corporate objectives.
What you would do
- Forecast regional requirements to meet sales targets.
- Create and implement regional sales strategies and lead the regional sales team toward corporate objectives.
- Supervise field activities, including performance appraisals and coaching.
- Monitor team performance and analyse sales figures, forecasts and budgets to adjust plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, distributors; coordinate with Marketing, Finance and Customer Service.
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections; oversee credit policy and trade promotions.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Health Sciences or related field.
- 8-12 years of progressive sales and marketing experience, with 3-5 years in regional or senior sales management.
- Proven experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical devices, hospitals or chain pharmacy industry.
- Strong leadership of regional sales teams and proven track record of achieving targets; strong key account management skills.
- Experience developing regional sales strategies and Route-to-Market strategies; debt management and credit control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to travel; Abuja-based or willing to relocate to Abuja.
