Regional Head - Internal Audit

About this role

Regional Head of Internal Audit based in Lagos, reporting to the Group Chief Internal Auditor. The role supports governance, risk management and internal controls across Dangote Group with responsibilities spanning Nigeria and Pan Africa clusters, including board and committee engagements.

What you would do

• Coordinate quarterly Anti-Fraud Committee reporting and present to GCIA
• Manage teams on ISO 22301 audits and liaise with external consultants
• Prepare and review cluster board audit committee packs and attend meetings
• Oversee matters arising, minutes review and finalization of reports by the GCIA
• Lead internal audit packs for statutory committees and top management presentations
• Supervise special audit reviews across Dangote business units on request

What they are asking for

• Master's degree in accounting or MBA an added advantage
• Professional qualifications: CIA, ICAN, ACCA, CPA, CIA, or IIA (membership required)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (BSc/HND)
• 15 years minimum relevant experience, 8 at senior management level
• Experience in internal audit standards, COSO, IFRS knowledge and regulatory reporting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; project management and negotiation skills
