Regional Coordinator

About this role

Based in Kaduna, the Regional Coordinator role at Jaza Energy oversees regional operations and profitability as a line manager and regional business owner. It includes leading recruitment, training and coaching of the regional team and ensuring performance aligns with company objectives in a last-mile energy business that builds solar charging stations and rents batteries in off-grid communities. The role reports to the country Business Operations Lead.

What you would do

• Manage regional profit and loss and implement growth plans while controlling costs
• Oversee regional inventory and ensure adherence to inventory policies and processes
• Lead recruitment and training of regional Jaza Stars and Super Stars through effective hiring processes
• Manage the regional team's performance via meetings, coaching and performance reviews
• Develop quarterly and monthly regional plans to increase active customers per hub and achieve revenue targets
• Resolve hub level service interruptions and customer complaints, coordinating with Tech Stars to maintain hub uptime

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Marketing, Sales or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in Sales and Business Development
• Strong understanding of last mile community sales and customer acquisition
• Experience managing junior sales executives and motivating them to deliver
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills for data interpretation
