Regional Collections Manager, West Central

About this role

Regional Collections Manager for the West Central region based in Osun, working within Sun King’s Risk department to drive PAYG product collections in the field and improve customer payment experiences. The role involves field visits, process design, and collaboration with sales teams to recover products and reduce delinquencies.

What you would do

• Analyze regional portfolio and repayment trends to set daily, weekly and monthly collection strategies.
• Conduct field visits to verify sales quality and gather insights to guide risk strategies.
• Provide weekly updates to the zonal credit analyst on interventions and results.
• Design and implement collection processes to improve repayments and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Area Business Managers and Field Sales Executives to repossess products when needed.
• Report product tampering or fraudulent practices and support actions against perpetrators.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Finance, Community Development, Communication, Credit Risk Management or related fields.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar field with field experience and rural customer interaction.
• Experience in Microfinance, Fintech or banking with a focus on credit collections or debt recovery preferred.
• Strong logical, communication and people skills; fluency in English and local language of the territory.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with multiple sales and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with the Osun region and ability to work in field settings.
