Recruitment Specialist
About this role
A Recruitment Specialist is needed to manage end-to-end hiring for Prime Atlantic Cegelec Nigeria (PACE) in Lagos. The role involves workforce planning, candidate sourcing, interviewing, offers, onboarding and coordination with hiring managers to build a strong candidate pipeline. It requires ensuring recruitment activities align with manpower plans, timelines and company policies. The employer focuses on development in the Nigerian oil and gas industry through a joint venture with Cegelec and operates a training centre in Ogere.
What you would do
- Coordinate recruitment activities in line with approved manpower requirements and timelines
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria
- Source, screen and shortlist qualified candidates through networks, referrals, databases and other channels
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, assessments, reference checks and background verification
- Prepare employment offers and pre-employment documentation
- Support onboarding and mobilisation activities
- Maintain recruitment records, candidate databases and recruitment reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality requirements and fair recruitment practices
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or related HR role
- Experience managing recruitment processes from sourcing through onboarding
- Experience with recruitment platforms, HRIS, ATS and Microsoft Office
- Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM or CIPD is an added advantage
- Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, construction, project or oil and gas roles is an advantage
