About this role
A Recruiter/HR Officer is needed in Nigeria to manage the full hiring cycle and support employee experience from onboarding to offboarding, acting as the local HR partner. The role reports to the Global Operations Manager and Regional Director/Manager and focuses on compliance, recruitment, and HR administration for Astria Learning.
What you would do
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, screening, shortlisting, interviews, references, and offers
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline and advise on sourcing strategies
- Act as local HR point of contact for policies, contracts, probation, performance reviews, conduct, and documentation
- Support disciplinary procedures and prepare related documentation
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires and offboarding for exits, including IT liaison and exit processes
- Maintain HR records, ensure compliance with local laws, and produce HR reports on headcount, hires, exits, and leaves

- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
- At least 2 years of HR generalist experience in recruitment or HR roles
- Experience with ATS/HRIS, leave-management systems, and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Understanding of local employment laws and HR practices relevant to Nigeria
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle confidential information
- Experience in a multi-country or remote-first organisation is a plus
