Reconciliation Officer (Hybrid)

About this role

Reconciliation Officer position with Pact Microfinance Bank Limited in Lagos (Aiyetoro–Epe area). The role focuses on regular account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring financial records are complete and accurate. It is an on-site role, with preference for candidates who live in Epe, Aiyetoro, or nearby areas.

What you would do

• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and exceptions.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding reconciliation items.
• Reconcile POS, bank transfers, electronic channels, and settlement accounts.
• Prepare reconciliation reports for management review.
• Support audit, internal control, and regulatory compliance.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a microfinance bank, commercial bank, fintech, POS/payments company, or related financial institution.
• Good understanding of bank reconciliations, settlements, and transaction processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high transaction volumes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
