What you would do
- Welcome guests upon arrival and respond to walk-ins with information about rooms, rates and facilities
- Register guests, verify identifications, and manage check-ins and check-outs
- Prepare guest bills, process payments, and issue receipts
- Receive and manage room reservations and update booking records
- Coordinate with housekeeping to confirm room readiness and with other departments for guest requests
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and handle emails and enquiries
- Handle guest complaints and requests, escalating serious issues as needed
- Maintain accurate guest registration and reservation records
- Keep records of payments, receipts, and room transactions
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to hotel policies and procedures
