A Reader in Public Law and Jurisprudence is being sought by Federal University Gusau in Zamfara. The role targets experienced academics with a strong research record and leadership/mentoring abilities.

• Conduct teaching and supervision at postgraduate and undergraduate levels as appropriate

• fulfil administrative duties as required by the department and faculty

• PhD in Public Law and Jurisprudence or related field
• at least 9 years of university teaching experience
• minimum of 3 years in Senior Lecturer grade or equivalent
• record of scholarly publications (≥12 journal articles) and edited conference proceedings (≥8)
• evidence of postgraduate supervision and academic leadership
• meeting the university’s satisfactory assessment criteria and professional memberships as applicable
