What you would do

• Conduct teaching and supervision in Mass Communication
• Engage in research and publish in recognised journals
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic governance
• Provide guidance to students and supervise postgraduate work
• Participate in university service and committees
• Prepare and deliver lectures and seminars
• Collaborate with colleagues on research projects
• Mentor junior faculty and researchers
• Prepare and submit reports on teaching and research activities
• Engage in scholarly dissemination and stakeholder engagement

• PhD degree in Mass Communication or related field
• Minimum of four (4) papers in Category A journals
• At least one paper in a Clarivate Analytics indexed journal
• Three additional papers in journals indexed in SJR or SNIP
• Minimum of two (2) papers in Category A journals in the candidate’s area of specialization
• Strong teaching and research track record
• Ability to work in a Nigerian university environment
