MEV Specialist Hospital in Abuja is looking for a Radiographer / Sonographer to join its diagnostic imaging team. The role involves performing imaging procedures such as X-ray, ultrasound and CT scans as ordered, ensuring patient comfort and safety. The incumbent will operate imaging equipment, follow radiation protection protocols, maintain and QA the equipment, and manage digital images and records. Applicants should have a BSc in Radiography or an equivalent diploma, hold current RRBN licensure, and have about 1–2 years of post-NYSC clinical imaging experience. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and good patient-facing communication are required.

What you would do

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered (X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, etc.).
• Position and prepare patients for accurate imaging and comfort.
• Enforce radiation protection protocols for patients, staff and self.
• Maintain, clean, and conduct quality assurance on radiological equipment.
• Process and manage digital images and archiving (PACS/DICOM).
• Keep precise medical records related to imaging procedures.

• Bachelor of Science in Radiography or equivalent Diploma in X-Ray Technology.
• Current license and practice permit from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• Minimum 1–2 years post-NYSC experience in clinical medical imaging (hospital setting preferred).
• Proficiency with digital imaging equipment, strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills.
