About this role

A radiographer is wanted to join Raphael the Archangel Catholic Specialist Hospital, a 50-bed facility in Olago, Edumoga, Okpokwu LGA, Benue State. The role covers general and mobile X-ray work, producing diagnostic images while minimising radiation exposure, and maintaining imaging records. Ultrasound duties may be performed only if the candidate has documented training and authorised scope. Accommodation is provided, and candidates must be willing to live in Olago or nearby.

What you would do

• Perform general and mobile/portable X-ray examinations.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images while protecting patients and optimising radiation dose.
• Maintain imaging quality and equipment records, and report faults promptly.
• Perform ultrasound examinations only within documented training and authorised scope.

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Full RRBN registration and a current practising licence.
• At least five years’ post-registration diagnostic radiography experience.
• Competence in general radiography, digital imaging and mobile/portable X-ray.
• Willingness to live in Olago or nearby.
• Documented training and experience in obstetric, gynaecological, abdominal or pelvic ultrasound is an advantage.
