About this role
Bridges Diagnostics Limited in Lagos is looking for a radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment and records. The role requires technical competence, good patient management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic environment. The organisation provides diagnostic and digital health services and collaborates with radiologists, laboratory staff, front desk personnel, and other healthcare professionals. The position is full-time and based around Lekki Phase 1 axis with flexible shifts.
What you would do
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, ultrasound, echo and Doppler equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and explain procedures when necessary.
- Position patients to obtain quality imaging results.
- Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, laboratory staff, front desk personnel and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor imaging equipment performance and report faults or operational concerns promptly.
- Ensure timely delivery of imaging services to support efficient patient turnaround time.
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent patient care at all times.
What they are asking for
- Degree or Diploma in Radiography or Medical Imaging Science from a recognised institution.
- Valid practicing licence and registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a hospital, diagnostic centre or imaging facility.
- Experience operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and imaging procedures.
- Good communication and patient management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Professional, detail-oriented and reliable.
