About this role
The Quantity Surveyor will manage project costs for Harmony Garden and Estate Development Limited from inception to completion in Lagos, ensuring projects stay within approved budgets without compromising quality or safety. The role involves cost planning, measurement, cost control, contract administration and reporting, working with the Construction Project Manager and other stakeholders such as the Director of Construction, Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, Site Engineers and Architects.
What you would do
- Prepare preliminary and detailed construction cost estimates.
- Develop project cost plans and budgets.
- Analyse cost risks and identify potential financial exposure.
- Prepare, review and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Monitor actual expenditure against budgets and report variances.
- Prepare cost performance reports and forecasts.

- 5 - 8 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
- Strong background in building construction, residential development and/or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Strong knowledge of construction measurement and valuation.
- Experience in contract administration and contractor payment valuations.
- Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
