Quantity Surveyor
About this role
A Quantity Surveyor is sought to support cost and commercial management for real estate development projects in Lagos. The role targets detail‑oriented professionals with experience in construction or real estate development.
What you would do
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Take off quantities from drawings and analyse for accurate costing
- Obtain and analyse current market prices for materials, labour and services
- Assist with tender preparation, evaluation and contractor selection
- Monitor project costs against budgets and prepare cost reports
- Assist with contract administration, variations, claims and final accounts
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or related field
- 2–5 years’ relevant experience in construction or real estate development
- QSRBN membership/registration is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and costs
- Proficiency in Excel and QS software; CostX, Buildsoft, AutoCAD or similar an advantage
- Good analytical, negotiation and communication skills
