Quantity Surveying (QS) Officer

What you would do

• Assist in preparing plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• Track changes in plans or constructions and update budgets
• Document progress, materials and reports on projects
• Assist in preparing tender and contract documents with project managers and design team
• Undertake cost and tender analysis for projects
• Assist in establishing client requirements and conduct feasibility studies
• Make valuations and ensure quality control of work
• Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
• Prepare and analyse costings for tenders
• Follow up to ensure deliverables are created on schedule and arrange payments

• University degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 4 years' direct experience in building services with focus on electromechanical, firefighting, HVAC, plumbing and extra-low voltage systems
• Professional certification with membership of NIQS, QSRBN and other bodies is an added advantage
