Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Manager

About this role

The QHSE Manager will develop and drive the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment framework for SSDD operations in Rivers, Nigeria, and oversee audits and compliance. It is for a NEBOSH-certified professional with extensive oil and gas safety experience (at least 15 years).

What you would do

• Prepare and drive a Quality and Safety Management framework across SSDD.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and implement risk reduction measures.
• Establish and enforce the QHSE plan, policy and management system, and drive continuous improvement.
• Establish the QHSE audit programme, schedule and conduct audits; monitor and report on QMS performance.
• Coordinate Safety and Training Coordinators; oversee staff training on QHSE and participate in accident investigations as required.
• Manage relationships with regulators and third party subcontractors; ensure QHSE certifications and licenses are up to date.

• B.Sc/B.Eng or equivalent in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH certification.
• Member of ISPON.
• COREN registration or membership.
• ISO Internal/Lead Auditor experience.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience as a Safety Professional within the Oil & Gas or Marin.
