What you would do

• Inspect market purchases and supplier deliveries for freshness, weight, and quality
• Prevent serving burnt, undercooked, cold, or poorly presented items
• Ensure raw items are washed and stored correctly before use
• Inspect kitchen cleanliness, storage areas, fridges, and preparation surfaces daily
• Verify FIFO, proper food storage, labeling, and expiry date checks
• Check taste, temperature, portion size, and presentation of each dish before it leaves the kitchen
• Reject low-quality, stale, or insufficient items
• Enforce personal hygiene standards for all kitchen and service staff (uniforms, hair nets, nails, hand washing)
• Ensure drinks, shisha, and cocktails adhere to standard recipes and taste
• Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures in food preparation and service
