Quality Control Officer
About this role
AAVA Brands Limited is hiring a Quality Control Officer for its soap manufacturing plant in Lagos. The role focuses on performing quality checks on raw materials, production processes and finished products to ensure they meet defined quality standards. Candidates should have a science degree at OND level or higher and at least one year of relevant quality control experience in soap or similar manufacturing. What you would do
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials, production processes and finished products.
- Document product quality tests and results.
- Monitor in-process quality control and raw material inspection.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene and laboratory safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Assist in reducing deviations and maintaining product consistency.
What they are asking for
- OND, HND or BSc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry or related science discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of quality control experience in soap manufacturing or related industry.
- Practical knowledge of quality testing, sampling and inspection procedures.
- Ability to conduct and document tests (pH, weight, appearance, etc.).
- Understanding of in-process QC, raw material inspection and finished product evaluation.
- Knowledge of GMP, hygiene standards and laboratory safety.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and accurate record-keeping.
