Quality Control Inspector
About this role
A Nigerian manufacturing firm in Kano is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to join its quality control team. The role targets candidates with a science or engineering background and relevant plastics manufacturing experience, willing to work shifts in Kano and Challawa Industrial area.
What you would do
- Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Conduct quality checks and measurements according to specifications.
- Monitor product dimensions, thickness/micron, appearance, and other quality parameters.
- Identify, document, and report defective or non-conforming products.
- Ensure production output meets customer and company specifications.
- Maintain accurate QC records and assist in resolving quality issues with other departments.
What they are asking for
- OND/HND/BSc in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Industrial Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in plastic/polythene manufacturing.
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures and documentation.
- Ability to work shifts in a manufacturing environment.
- Good attention to detail and reporting skills.
- Willingness to work in Kano and Challawa Industrial area.
