Quality Control - Civil

Horatio Limited in Lagos is recruiting for a Quality Control - Civil role. The job involves inspecting civil construction activities against approved drawings and specifications, reviewing drawings, material submittals and ITPs, and coordinating inspections and corrective actions. It is targeted at candidates with a civil engineering qualification and a minimum of 3-5 years' quality control experience in civil construction.

What you would do

• Inspect civil construction activities against approved drawings and specifications
• Review drawings, material submittals and ITPs
• Inspect earthworks, foundations, concrete, reinforcement and structural works
• Identify quality issues, defects and non-conformances
• Coordinate inspections, testing and corrective actions

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years' quality control experience in civil construction (preferably in oil & gas, construction, or industrial projects)
• Strong knowledge of civil construction and quality control processes
• Good understanding of drawings, specifications and ITPs
• Knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, earthworks and foundations
• Ability to identify defects, non-conformances and quality deviations
