Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager

About this role

A QA/QC Manager is sought to lead quality assurance and control activities for oil and gas construction and upgrade projects in Port Harcourt, Rivers. The role targets experienced professionals who can oversee QA/QC processes, manage personnel, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and QMS requirements.

What you would do

• Lead and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, equipment specs and QMS requirements
• Develop and implement the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation and operations
• Plan QA/QC duties and team schedules; establish service standards for internal and external users
• Identify and address QA/QC personnel certification and training needs; provide leadership and mentorship
• Coordinate risk-based inspection activities and plant integrity processes; manage failure analysis follow-up
• Oversee inspection, NDE and testing plans for new construction, repairs and alterations; manage third-party subcontractors

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar QA/QC role
• Strong communication skills in English (oral and written)
• Professional English proficiency mandatory
• Experience with QA/QC management, inspection, NDE, and welding procedures is preferred
• Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, AWS, BS EN and related standards
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and managing certification and audits
