Quality Assurance / Quality Control Officer

About this role

Addme Nutrition Limited in Lagos is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Officer to ensure raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet quality and food safety standards. The role is for professionals with 2-3 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in FMCG, with a background in sciences or quality management.

What you would do

• Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products and perform quality tests according to approved procedures and specifications.
• Record, analyse, and report inspection and test results.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements including GMP, ISO, HACCP, GLP, QMS, and FSSC.
• Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation.
• Identify and investigate quality defects, deviations, and non-conformities; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support supplier quality activities such as supplier evaluations, qualification, and reporting supplier quality concerns.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Sciences, Quality Management, or related field.
• Professional certifications in Quality Management are an advantage.
• Knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GLP, QMS, FSSC.
• 2-3 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or a related role.
• FMCG experience is preferred.
