Quality Assurance Manager - Customer Supply Chain

About this role

Role oversees quality and food safety across FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria’s Customer Supply Chain, including warehousing, logistics and trade channels. It targets proactive quality management, complaint reduction and regulatory and customer compliance for FMCG dairy products.

What you would do

• Ensure quality procedures for warehousing, transportation, crisis management, complaints handling and store audits.
• Conduct distributor, warehouse and market audits and evaluations to identify risks and reduce losses.
• Manage quality communications with customers and regulatory authorities, including certificates, specifications and inquiries.
• Participate in commercialization and new product development to identify and mitigate food safety and quality risks.
• Audit and monitor outsourced partners and logistics providers for compliance; drive corrective actions.
• Lead end-to-end complaints handling, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Management or related discipline.
• 5–8 years in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, or related FMCG manufacturing roles.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Food Safety Management Systems and quality auditing.
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, distributor quality management and customer quality support.
• Knowledge of regulatory and customer quality requirements in FMCG.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
