QMS & HSE Manager

Business Contracting Limited in Lagos is seeking a QMS and HSE Manager to oversee and enhance its Quality Management System and Health, Safety and Environment programmes, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The role targets professionals with at least five years in a combined QMS and HSE management role, a related technical degree, and relevant certifications, with lead auditor credentials preferred. What you would do

• Manage and update the QMS to align with ISO 9001 standards.
• Lead internal quality audits and coordinate external certification audits.
• Analyse quality data, track KPIs, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee documentation control for corporate policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and conduct risk assessments for environmental and occupational safety.
• Lead incident investigations into accidents or near-misses and implement preventive measures.

• 5+ years of experience in a combined QMS and HSE management or senior role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
• Certifications: Certified ISO 9001/14001/45001 Lead Auditor preferred.
• Recognised safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH International Diploma, OSHA, or equivalent) highly desirable.
• First-aid training.
• Other HSE training and certificates.
