About this role
QHSE Supervisor role at Cakasa Maintenance Services Limited in Rivers. You will support the implementation and ongoing improvement of the company's QHSE/IMS, and coordinate QHSE activities across projects, workshops, yards and client locations to meet approved procedures and client requirements. The position seeks candidates with substantial QHSE/QA/QC experience, including at least three years in a lead or supervisory role, ideally in oil and gas, EPC, construction, maintenance or industrial services.
What you would do
- Support the implementation of the Company's QHSE/IMS requirements, including ISO 900, 1400 and ISO 45001.
- Coordinate QHSE activities across projects, workshops, yards and client locations, ensuring compliance with approved procedures, specifications, standards and client requirements.
- Prepare Quality plans, ITPs, inspection programmes and mobilisation requirements.
- Conduct inspections, audits and quality surveillance, including hold/witness points, material traceability and calibrators.
- Manage NCRs, defects, punch items, observations and corrective actions through closure.
- Monitor rework, recurring defects, complaints and quality trends.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management or a related field.
- NITRified, ISO or recognised equivalent certification; internal auditor training in ISO 900, ISO 1400 and ISO 45001; Lead Auditor qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum eight years’ progressive QHSE, QA/QC, HSE, environmental or IMS experience, preferably in oil and gas, EPC, construction, maintenance or industrial services.
- At least three years in a lead or supervisory role coordinating personnel and multiple work fronts/projects.
- Practical experience implementing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements; experience with inspections, audits, corrective actions, Quality/QHS Plans and ITPs.
- Working knowledge of Nigerian QHSE and environmental requirements; experience supervising contractors and interfacing with clients, auditors and inspectors.
