QA / QC Officer

What you would do
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems and ISO 9001 principles across project activities
- Carry out routine site inspections and monitor contractor workmanship and material quality against drawings, specifications and procedures
- Prepare, review and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs) in line with project quality requirements
- Raise, track and close out non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions with contractors
- Compile and maintain test reports, inspection records and handover documentation for completed works
- Contribute to internal and external quality audits and inspection activities, documenting findings and recommendations
- Apply root-cause analysis to quality issues and recommend preventive measures
- Liaise with project, engineering and contractor teams to communicate quality requirements and drive improvement
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or HND in Quality Management, Construction Management or a relevant technical discipline
- 4-6 years' experience in QA/QC, site inspection or project quality management in relevant technical environments
- Practical knowledge of quality systems, ISO 9001 principles, inspection procedures, ITPs, NCRs, corrective actions, drawings, specifications, test reports and handover documentation
- Experience monitoring contractor workmanship and material quality
- Preferred: quality auditing or inspection certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor)
- Preferred: root-cause analysis experience
