WEAFRI Well Services Company Limited is inviting a QA/QC Officer to oversee quality assurance and control across its projects in Delta and Rivers. The role requires enforcing the quality management system, inspecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with international engineering codes. What you would do
- Implement and maintain QMS in line with ISO 9001:2015 requirements
- Manage the QMS and drive corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement
- Coordinate welding procedures and monitor welder qualifications in liaison with the Supervisor
- Coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT/NDE) and related documentation
- Conduct quality management system audits and propose action plans
- Identify defects, issue NCRs, and manage root-cause investigations and CAPA
- Review and sign off on purchased products and services
- Lead site facility and vendor shop quality audits
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly inspection reports and turnover documentation
- Ensure certification and calibration of WEAFRI equipment and maintain records
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering or Physical Sciences
- Minimum 4-6 years of progressive QA/QC experience in oil and gas services
- ASNT Level II, CSWIP, AWS, or NACE/FROSIO certifications (advantage)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, welding metallurgy, coating, and NDT methods
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality tracking software
