A QA/QC Officer is needed by WEAFRI Well Services Co. Limited in Delta to lead quality assurance and control activities across ongoing projects. The role focuses on enforcing quality management systems, inspecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with international engineering standards. What you would do
- Implement and maintain QMS processes per ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Manage the WEAFRI QMS and drive improvement actions including corrective/preventive actions and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and monitor welder qualifications in liaison with the Supervisor.
- Coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT/NDE) activities under supervision.
- Conduct quality management system audits and propose action plans for management.
- Identify defects, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and manage root-cause investigations and CAPA closeouts.
- Review and sign off on purchased products and services.
- Lead site facility and vendor shop quality audits to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly inspection reports and turnover documentation.
- Maintain records of equipment certification and calibration in line with industry standards.

- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
- Minimum 4-6 years of progressive QA/QC experience in oil and gas services.
- ASNT Level II, CSWIP, AWS, or NACE/FROSIO certifications are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 QMS, welding metallurgy, coating, and NDT methods.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality tracking software.
