QA/QC Inspector
About this role
The QA/QC Inspector role at Scruples Resources in Lagos involves carrying out quality inspection and verification activities across construction, engineering, fabrication, installation and related project work. It ensures materials, workmanship, processes and completed work conform to approved drawings, specifications, standards, inspection and test plans and project quality requirements.
What you would do
- Carry out inspections of construction, fabrication, installation and maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures and project requirements.
- Verify that materials, equipment, components and workmanship meet approved specifications and quality requirements.
- Review drawings, specifications, ITPs and relevant quality documentation.
- Identify defects, deviations or non-conformities and raise related inspection, non-conformance or observation reports as required.
- Witness and document inspections, tests, measurements and verification activities, ensuring proper recording of inspection activities.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, subcontractor and client representatives on quality-related matters.

- HND, bachelor''s degree or equivalent technical qualification in engineering, construction, quality management or related discipline.
- Relevant QA/QC or inspection certification is an advantage.
- Proven experience in quality inspection within construction, engineering, fabrication, installation, manufacturing, maintenance or related projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements and quality procedures.
- Knowledge of applicable construction and engineering codes and standards relevant to the area of specialization.
- Good report-writing and documentation skills.
