QA / QC Engineer Civil & Structural

Collection Development Limited (CDL) is seeking a QA / QC Engineer for Civil and Structural works in Lagos. The role focuses on implementing the project quality framework, conducting site inspections, managing materials and testings, and handling non-conformances to ensure quality across heavy building and civil projects. It targets professionals with significant QA/QC experience in large-scale construction and relevant certifications are preferred. What you would do

• Implement the Project Quality Management Plan, Inspection and Test Plans, and method statements.
• Conduct site quality walks and approve concrete pour permits; inspect rebar detailing, formwork, waterproofing, and structural elements before execution.
• Inspect incoming materials, verify supplier test certificates, and oversee field or laboratory testing (concrete cubes, slump, rebar tensile, soil compaction).
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports, determine root causes, implement corrective/preventive actions, and verify closure.
• Maintain audit-ready QA/QC logs and conduct pre-handover snagging/punch-listing.
• Witness Non-Destructive Testing and water-tightness tests.
