Public Health Specialist

What you would do
- Contribute to development and field testing of survey tools and data collection methods.
- Plan and support health-related surveillance systems and epidemiologic studies with the MEL team.
- Help design field activities and standard operating procedures.
- Support strengthening routine and supplementary disease surveillance systems.
- Provide technical input to ensure best practices in programme design and rollout.
- Lead or contribute to projects related to health system strengthening, immunisation, private sector engagement, nutrition and planning.

- Minimum 12 years post-graduate work experience in public health.
- Experience managing donor grants or contracts (e.g., Gates Foundation, FCDO, GFATM, USAID/PMI).
- Experience in maternal and child health, immunisation, nutrition, and malaria planning.
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Postgraduate degree in Public Health with focus on epidemiology/biostatistics or demography; medical degree.
- Strong writing, presentation, and data analysis skills; familiarity with DHIS2 and geospatial software.
