About this role
AXA Mansard in Lagos is seeking a Provider Tariff and Resolutions Manager. The role involves developing, maintaining and optimising tariffs for all tiers of partner healthcare providers, negotiating provider rates with hospitals and clinics to ensure cost-effective, high-quality care for insured members, and handling tariff-related escalations.
What you would do
- Develop and implement provider tariff models for all provider tiers.
- Lead negotiations with hospitals, clinics and other providers to set tariffs and update contract terms.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of provider tariffs and contracts.
- Analyse medical cost trends and provider performance with the claims team to inform tariff adjustments.
- Oversee the tariff negotiation and resolution teams to ensure timely closure of tariff reviews and escalations.
- Prepare regular reports on provider negotiations, tariff trends and unit operations.
What they are asking for
- MBBS/MBChB degree.
- Postgraduate qualification such as MPH, MSc, MBA or professional qualification would be an added advantage.
