Protocol Officer
About this role
A Protocol Officer is needed in Port Harcourt to manage airport protocol, passenger handling and transportation support for company personnel and guests on local and international travel. The role involves coordinating arrivals, departures, shuttles and liaising with airlines and security agencies, with duties including reporting and record-keeping.
What you would do
- Manage airport shuttles, drivers and transportation arrangements.
- Coordinate passenger arrivals, departures, check-ins and airport transfers.
- Liaise with airlines, Immigration, Customs, NDLEA, Travel teams and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate accommodation and transportation for unplanned passengers.
- Conduct routine shuttle inspections and report safety concerns.
- Maintain transportation and protocol records using PTS and G3S and provide airport assistance.
What they are asking for
- BSc/B.A. or equivalent qualification, or HND.
- Maximum of 2 years' experience in protocol, airport operations, travel coordination, transportation, hospitality or related role.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle early morning/late-night airport operations.
- Good communication, coordination and customer service skills.
